I have this strong pull and need to support and guide other Reiki practitioners and newly trained Reiki Masters/Teachers, because during my own Reiki journey – 17 years ago, I felt alone and completely disconnected. I had many doubts and fears, I was receiving intuitive information which I could not make sense of, I had endless questions and I suffered from imposter syndrome. These feelings of insecurity and not feeling good enough had an enormous effect on my ability to trust! I lacked trust in myself and sadly I began to lack trust in the universal life force energy. I was questioning whether it was even real! Although I was opening myself up to be a vessel, my ego was preventing me from following my intuition and needless to say, affecting my ability to be the best conduit for healing energy.

 

Eventually, I had no choice but to draw on my strength, courage, determination and inner divine wisdom and guidance to finally release, trust and allow myself to be. Moving forward 17 years later, this isolating and profound experience has led me to listen within and open myself up to offer my support and guidance to all energy healers who may in some way feel they too are not supported, guided, or feel a sense of loneliness with no one to turn to for support. Integration of Research-Based Best-Practice for Student Learning – Reiki Classes

As a practicing classroom teacher with over 27 years’ experience and as a previous Head of Faculty, Education Officer Curriculum, Literacy Coach and Assistant Principal, I will coach and mentor you to embed effective research-based pedagogical strategies that will engage and motivate your students to learn, thus enhance their learning experience during your Reiki classes. Effective learning strategies are an essential aspect of curriculum planning. This ensures you are offering the best learning opportunities for your students and that you are considering their diverse learning needs. You want to make them feel safe to openly share and reflect on their experiences and journey which has brought them to learn Reiki with you. We want our students to feel safe within a respectful and supportive learning environment – this is crucial. We also want them to love learning with you. As your mentor, I will provide advice and suggestions for what you could include when planning your lessons. I can offer advice around suggested strategies, resources, templates and learning activities which will enhance your pedagogy as you deliver your Reiki classes.

 

Reiki Australia Professional Member

I hold professional membership with Reiki Australia. Reiki Australia is one of the leading voices in the industry committed to raising the profile of Reiki as a spiritual practice and healing art. My membership is category 6 – Combined ARTP and Master/Teacher. This membership category recognises a professional member of Reiki Australia for adhering to a higher standard of practice. I am obligated to adhere by a code of conduct and ethics. Under this category, I have provided treatment logs over 12 months, I am obligated to hold current professional indemnity insurance and a current first aid certificate.

I have also successfully completed Reiki Australia’s certificate course in Professional Development for Reiki Treatment: Units 1-6. This course addresses professional responsibilities that are common to all health care workers and outlines my obligations under the National Code of Conduct for health care workers – which does not exclude professional Reiki practitioners. You can trust that when you work with me, I am highly professional, and I take very seriously my commitment to adhering by the National Code of Conduct for health care workers.

Believe it or not, the five Reiki principles are an integral aspect of being an effective Reiki practitioner. These principles help us to live day by day in a peaceful, gentle, respectful, and loving way. They have been an absolute blessing in my life, especially as a practitioner and Reiki teacher. It’s definitely been a challenge, that’s for sure! But, as I embrace them with grace and patience, the Reiki principles have definitely helped me to live a life that is not driven by ego. For example, I am not driven by anger, power, resentment, disrespect and self-centredness. My day-to-day life is guided by the five Reiki principles. Be assured that as your Reiki mentor, I will be a good role model for you – as you embark on your journey to develop as an authentic and passionate Reiki practitioner.

If you’re interested in opening up your intuition and connecting with your inner guidance, my mentoring sessions can be a transformative experience. I will help you tap into your intuitive abilities, which is essential in energy work and spiritual development. I have found that when I tap into my own intuition and trust it wholeheartedly, I have been privy to information that I would not otherwise have noticed in my client’s energy field. If you often doubt yourself and the information that comes through during a Reiki session or energy healing session, I will support you to understand and trust your intuition more, so you can use this to guide your healing sessions. Although the energy flows where it needs to, I always teach my students that if you pick up on any impressions or sensations, use this as sign to focus a little more in that area of your client’s energy field.
