My Story

Welcome! I’m Olga, founder of Sublime Awakening. With 18 years of Reiki practice, my path has been deeply shaped by both personal experience and ancestral roots.

My grandfather, mi papito, was a revered curandero (healer) in the rural town of Cañasgordas, Antioquia, Colombia. He was known for his knowledge of plant medicine, divination, and spiritual wisdom; his gifts left a lasting legacy that I only came to fully appreciate after my father’s passing.

Raised in the Catholic tradition, my spirituality has always been a guiding force. Time in nature, prayer, and stillness helped me foster a deep connection to the Divine from a young age. As I’ve reconnected with my ancestral roots, I now recognise that my values, my heightened intuition, and way of life are a continuation of my grandfather’s spirit.

Sublime Awakening is more than a business, it’s a soul-led offering to those seeking healing, clarity, and spiritual connection. Whether through Reiki sessions, mentoring, or intuitive guidance, my mission is to hold sacred space for your awakening and reconnection to the wisdom within.

My Reiki Journey

Eighteen years ago, I was introduced to Reiki during a time I was seeking balance and renewal. What began as curiosity quickly turned into a life-changing experience, one I now call my sublime awakening. Reiki touched every part of me: body, heart, mind, and soul. It brought a sense of grounding, peace, and vitality I had never felt before.

As a teacher with nearly three decades of experience, Reiki became my sanctuary. It was my way to recharge, refocus, and reconnect after long, demanding school terms. Over time, my creativity expanded, my inner peace deepened, and I felt more energised than ever. Reiki didn’t just support my wellbeing; it transformed it.

Now, I’m devoted to sharing this beautiful healing modality with others. Reiki is a sacred gift that connects us to the universal life force that flows through all living things. It is a gentle and powerful way to heal from within, and it is my honour to guide you through your own awakening.
